I discovered the work of the chinese designer Ma Ke while watching a fashion documentary Useless by Jia Zhangke. The websites are a bit painful to use (her studio and haute couture site) so I prefer to view the images on the V&A Museum for seeing the form, mood and aesthetic. Since it is hard to find a lot of coverage on her work, I will point to the film as the best source to see the design process, development of the collection concepts and textiles.
